Oventrop SVA pump check valve for circulation pumps
The Oventrop SVA is a pump check valve designed to prevent unwanted gravity circulation of heating water when the circulation pump is not operating. Installed directly onto the circulation pump, it helps prevent uncontrolled water circulation through the heating system and reduces unwanted heat transfer.
While the pump is operating, the valve allows water to flow in the intended direction. When the pump is switched off, the valve closes automatically and prevents gravity circulation. The valve has an opening pressure of 20 mbar. Its body is made of brass, and it is suitable for heating systems with a pressure rating of up to PN 10 and a maximum medium temperature of 120 °C.
The product is available in two versions. Oventrop article 1070108 is the DN 25 version with a G 1" male thread and a G 1½" female threaded union nut for connection to the circulation pump. Oventrop article 1070110 is the DN 32 version with a G 1¼" male thread and a G 2" female threaded union nut for connection to the circulation pump.
