The rubber connector sleeve is designed to seal various sanitary pipe connections. Depending on the selected size and design, it can be used for:

  • connecting a trap outlet to a waste pipe;
  • connecting a sanitary pipe to a drain socket;
  • connecting a cistern flush or inlet pipe to the inlet opening of a WC pan;
  • other compatible non-pressurised sanitary connections.

In a WC installation, the sleeve can be fitted between the cistern flush pipe and the inlet opening of the ceramic WC pan. Its purpose is to grip the pipe, fill the space between the pipe and the connection and prevent water leakage during flushing.

In trap and drainage connections, the sleeve seals the space between the trap pipe and the waste connection. This helps prevent water leakage and unpleasant odours from escaping from the drainage system.

The flexible rubber material adapts to the connecting surfaces. The ribbed outer or inner surface improves grip, while the wider flange helps position the sleeve correctly and prevents it from sliding too far into the connection.

The product is available in several variants. Individual versions differ in:

  • external and internal diameter;
  • sleeve height or length;
  • number and shape of sealing ribs;
  • flange design;
  • intended application.

Important: Not all variants are suitable for every application. A version intended for a trap or waste connection may not be suitable for a WC inlet pipe, and vice versa. Before ordering, check the dimensions, shape and intended purpose of the existing seal.

Important: The product is intended for non-pressurised sanitary connections. It is not suitable for connecting pressurised drinking-water, cold-water or hot-water pipes.

Selecting the correct variant

Before ordering, check the following:

Outside diameter of the connecting pipe: the diameter of the pipe inserted into the sleeve.

Inside diameter of the connection: the diameter of the waste or ceramic opening into which the sleeve is inserted.

Intended application: trap, waste pipe or flush-water inlet to the WC pan.

Seal design: straight or extended flange, internal and external ribs and insertion depth.

Existing connection: it is advisable to compare the existing sleeve and connection dimensions.

Clean the pipe and connection opening before installation. The sleeve must be inserted evenly, without folding, twisting or damage. Check the connection for leaks after installation.
