FAR 1610 angled thermostatic valve for multilayer, copper or PE pipe

FAR 1610 is an angled, chrome-plated thermostatic radiator valve designed for connecting a radiator to multilayer, copper or PE/plastic pipe. It is available in 3/8″ and 1/2″ versions.

The pipe side features a FAR 24 × 19 connection, allowing the appropriate compression fitting to be selected according to the pipe material and size. The same valve can therefore be used with suitable fittings for multilayer, copper or plastic pipe.

The valve is prepared for the installation of a thermostatic or electrothermal head, enabling regulation of the heating-medium flow through the radiator. It is suitable for central heating systems using water or water-glycol mixtures.

It features a stainless-steel stem with a double O-ring seal, a reinforced return spring and a flat valve plug. The radiator tailpiece is factory pre-sealed with Loctite® Dri-Seal® 5061, simplifying installation and providing reliable sealing. The chrome-plated finish provides a neat appearance for visible radiator installations.

Important fitting information

The 3/8″ or 1/2″ size refers to the radiator connection. Both versions have a FAR 24 × 19 pipe connection.

The correct fitting must be selected according to:

• pipe material;
• pipe outside diameter;
• pipe wall thickness.

For 16 × 2 mm multilayer pipe, the suitable fitting is FAR 6055 58190.
