FAR 3020 three-way ball valve for motor actuator
FAR 3020 is a chrome-plated three-way ball valve for motor actuator, intended for diverting flow in heating, cooling and other installation systems. It is used in systems where the flow of the medium needs to be directed between individual system branches or switched between different operating modes by means of a motor actuator. FAR describes it as a 3-way diverting zone valve with male-male connections and full flow.
The valve is made of CW617N brass, with EPDM O-ring seals and PTFE seats, and has a nominal pressure of 16 bar. It is suitable for water with or without glycol. The maximum permitted differential pressure is 5 bar, and the working temperature of the medium is from -10 °C to +100 °C. According to FAR instructions, it is a three-way diverting valve with an “L” passage, allowing inlet from below and flow diversion to the left or right, or the reverse, depending on the actuator position. The valve also has an internal anti-blocking system, ensuring reliable ball rotation even under more demanding operating conditions.
